oh look... I am still alive!!

The rumors are true I am still alive.  LOL!  
In fact I have been doing a few things.  I don't know if you follow my facebook page but I introduced a new idea.  I am going to be doing themed auctions.  These will be fun... you will be able to score a lot of OOAK (one-of-a-kind) Nifty Nappy diapers.  I am having a blast buying cute fabrics for this.  I will be making some diapers, covers, and swim diapers and then selling them in themes. 
Such as: retro, animals, characters, fairytales... like that.  
Fun huh?  Well... you wanna see a snap shot of what will be up for auction on Aug. 15th?  

I am calling it the "Stuck in the 70's"

I have gotten involved in a great cause!  I want you to join too -if you haven't already!

I just threw out the idea on twitter the other day that we needed to make a push to get cloth diaper used in hospitals again.  My suggestion took on a life of it's own, and I have had some major help from some awesome ladies!  

We have a FB page and everything.  If you feel you have anything at all to offer, ideas, info, or photos please feel free to let me know!  We are going to be having a HUGE giveaway event too next week...so join us!

Man, today was a super long day. I have been working on getting all the longies figured out for the Black friday sale. I had then all cut out and measured right. So after I got the kids off to school this morning. (to put it into perspective they get on the bus at 7:15) I sat down and started sewing. I sewed straight through to 11:30 when I stopped to make lunch for the little ones. Then I went back to sewing till about 1:30 when I cleaned up and put it all away cause I was watching my friends kiddos and they don't do well with stuff strewn all over. (my kids are used to it)

I got them all done though!

I still need to sew up 5 Woolie wraps tomorrow and then a few diapers that have changed and then I have them all done!

It's Christmas Time! :)

So I am just giving you a heads up! Any orders you want by Christmas must be placed by the 11th of Dec.

Also I am taking a Christmas break! I love the holidays and I don't want to spend them stressing about how I am going to get all the diapers made plus the quilts for my kidds and the Christmas dresses for the girls! so...

I am not sewing on any orders placed from Dec. 12th until Jan. 4th. This means they won't ship out until around the 11th of Jan. Orders will be accepted, just not sewn up! :)

I wanted to say thanks for making the black friday a sucess! You guys are great! :)
